I find that changing the title of your stream through Twitch to be the easiest way to change your stream title. The reason being is that regardless which software you use to stream, this method will work.
So if you stream on Streamlabs or OBS Studio, either way, changing your title through Twitch will work.
Now you can also change the title of your stream using most streaming softwares. Let me show you how to change the title of your stream using the most common streaming software, Streamlabs.
How to Change Your Stream Title Using Streamlabs
Now Twitch isn't the only place that you can change the title of your stream. If you stream using Streamlabs, you can change the stream title from inside the software. Here is how to do that:
- Open up your Streamlabs software
- Pop out your chat so your chat box appears
- Now click on the pencil in the upper left hand corner, just above your chat box
- A pop up window will appear where you can update your streaming info
- Go to the section titled "Title" and write the title you want for your stream
- Once you have input your title, click the "Update" button in the bottom right corner of the pop up window and your stream title will be updated and saved

Like I mentioned earlier, I personally prefer changing my title through Twitch itself, but either way will work. If you are in your Streamlabs chatting, it can be a quick and easy switch.
The main point is that there are multiple ways for you to change your stream title and it is really just up to your preference. Or your cup of tea as the rich would say.
Can a Mod Change the Title of a Twitch Stream?
Yes, a mod can change the title of a stream. For this reason you will want to choose who you make a mod in your stream carefully so they don't mess with your stream title.
If you want to know how you as a mod can change the title of a stream, see the section below.

Tips for Making a Good Title on Twitch
When it comes to making a good title on Twitch you should ask yourself two questions: is the title catchy and is it relevant.
A catchy stream title is self explanatory. You want to create a stream title that will catch peoples' eyes and make them want to check out your stream. For example, let's say you have a high KD in Warzone, you could put that in your stream title to showoff how good you are.
Or maybe you are going to be doing something wild on your stream. Let the lurkers know and if it is eye grabbing enough, they might just decide to click and see what you are all about.
The next tip is keeping your title relevant. Make it meaningful. I am sure you have seen some of the big streamers like TimTheTatman use titles like "bald" or "fat" as their title. Literally, that is his whole title.
And for huge streamers like him, that's ok to do. Most people on Twitch know of him. He will always appear as one of the recommended channels and so he doesn't have to stress about making some catchy title to pull people in.
But unless you are on that kind of level, you will need to take all of the small victories that you can get. All the small wins as a small streamer are what will add up and turn you into a lean mean streaming machine, or at least get a few more people to click through and watch your stream.
Either way, you get my point. A catchy stream title that is relevant can help you to pull more people in. Then the rest is up to you.
